Job Description:
As a preferred Microsoft Solutions Provider, BT PS is seeking top notch SharePoint and MOSS developers AND SharePoint Architects with demonstrated consultative skills to add to our growing solutions practice.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong team leadership, focus on results, and a consultative approach and problem solving abilities to enable businesses to operate more effectively.
Job Requirements:
• Professional services / IT consulting experience
• At least 3 years as an architect and/or developer with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0) and SharePoint Portal Services 2003 (SPS 2003) and 2007.
• Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) 2007 a plus - accessing and manipulating API services and web services of MOSS
• Must have experience in developing custom web parts and integrating enterprise content with SharePoint to include content indexing, personalization and restricting access to content. Also needs experience in creating .net custom controls and user controls.
• Knowledge of .Net and Web Services are also required for a developer position.
• Excellent documentation skills
• Provide consulting services to customers in order to partner towards a business solution
• Provide consistent customer service levels as defined by client assignment specifications
• Communicate project/work status with clients, project leaders, and managers on a continual basis
• Ability to operate independently within a team structure.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
Education and Certifications:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or 5 years IT experience
Either of these certifications a plus:
MCSD.NET – Microsoft Certified Solution Developer .NET
MCAD – Microsoft Certified Application Developer
