Job description:
SharePoint Administrator with complimentary .NET development responsibilities. Candidate would be responsible for installation, design, development, and support of the information portals and content management systems based on the Microsoft SharePoint software (MOSS 2007). This role is engaged with the customer's business strategy and operations to ensure that the technology solutions effectively support the business requirements.
Essential Functions:
Installation and support of SharePoint environment. This will include the setup, configuration, design, development, and implementation and support of the company's main intranet portal, with both content management and collaboration tools.
Candidate Qualifications:
* Strong team player with at least 2-4 years experience in a SharePoint Administrator role.
* Proficiency with SharePoint 2007 platform, including central administration, site collection, security and database integration.
* Experience with SharePoint Designer and .NET development.
* Lead and/or Senior level experience required with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
* Enjoys a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
* Technical 4 year degree strongly preferred.
